J.B. Churchill's Family Pages

The Family Pages are a place for friends and family to browse to see whats going on with us. Buddy (the dog) has created his own web page and we have set up pages for our nephew Owen and neice Sarah. Owen is Donna's sister's grandson and Sarah is J.B.'s brothers daughter.

The purpose of this web page is for family and friends (especially those far away) to see us, see our place, our dog, our garden etc. and otherwise keep tabs on us and our activities.

Summer of 2007

Donna got her birthday present a little bit early this year (a pool). It was a little bit tough finding a level spot in the yard. We wound up buying 2 tons of top soil and digging out part of the yard to make a flat spot. We are still working out the nuances of chemical testing but we have lots of pool toys to play with. There are sure to be some hot days yet to come and the pool will hopefully provide a good source of relief from the heat and a good bit of fun to boot.

J.B. has been involved in GIS workshops again this year. He was in Montgomery County, Maryland all week last week. The weather was quite warm so he was missing out on having the new pool set up. Father's day was exciting. Buddy got J.B. this great “DogFather” T-shirt. J.B. has never been so proud.

Earlier this summer we added some new pine bark mulch to the yard. Now if we could just keep the rabbits out of the flowers and shrubs. Then Buddy could get some much needed rest.

J.B. attended Sarah Grace Churchill's Birthday party on Saturday 6/30. Technically her birthday isn't for a few more days. She is turning two years old this year. It was quite a nice party. Hopefully we will have a couple more pictures to add from the party soon. J.B. added some pictures of birds in the yard to his digiscoping web site.
